Great Clips for ~$15. Before I moved, it was a small mom and pop called Tyler’s for ~$7. I miss my cheap hair cuts.

I get my haircut at my friend Pamela’s house and in exchange I groom her dog so it doesn’t cost me anything! My husband usually goes to Superclips or one of those chains on his way home from work.. I think it costs him $12.

I get my hair cut across the street from my house at a beauty school. I think it costs me maybe $10? And that’s including a $3 or $4 tip. My husband goes to supercuts though, and I think it normally costs him around $15.

I go to Supercuts, too, and usually get my hair cut and eyebrows waxed at the same time, which ends up costing me about $25 including tip, as long as I remember to bring a coupon from the newspaper.

I always did trade for my hair color but the hair cuts always came out bad so I hit up Hair Cuttery or Super Cuts & paid $16+tip. It takes about 5 minutes to cut my hair & they always rock it compared to the swanky salons.

I even tried a student barber for $5. The gal said “this is my first time cutting a guy’s hair.” And I thought OHHH S***…, but I made a mistake of sitting down… :(

Cost Cutters or Great Clips, whichever one I find first. Costs between 13.95 and 15, depending on deals. Once I got charged only $4.95 the cost of a beard trim because it didn’t take her very long. It would be a lot cheaper if I could get an even cut by myself…

Because DS had a super issue with cutting his hair, it was a nightmare. We use to take him to JustKidsCuts; they did a great job with children on the spectrum, but it cost $22! Now the woman who threads my eyebrows does it for $17, not including tip. I have brought him to supercuts a time or two as well. I keep my hair long, so I don’t cut it.

Last 2 times I cut my hair I did it myself. Bangs are easy, and since I have big wavy hair you can’t really tell if it’s not straight if I just snip away at the ends. -Thats free!!

But if I’m going for a style I’ll go to Online Hair Design and it’s usually about $30

I get my hair cut at Juut Salon (used to be called Aveda) in MN. The cut costs me $50 (and my stylist is one of the medium-priced ones there!). However, I only get my hair cut about 3 times a year, and my stylist does a pretty good job. I’ve tried convincing my husband to cut my hair, but he refuses to do it because he’s afraid he’ll screw up and I’ll have a fit, which I wouldn’t. I always cut his hair, so we save money there.

I get my hair cut at Hair Cuttery (aren’t they a close rival to Supercuts?). I usually decide on the spur of the moment or when I’m driving by that I’ll go get a cut – no blow drying to save on $$. Typically it’s when my hair, which is just past shoulder length, is looking scrappy. The cost is $15 + tip, which is pretty good considering I live in South Florida. Results are varied though, so I know, that I might need to do a little bit of minor work at home afterwards!

Ok, looks like I’m the only reader who spends a little more money on my hair! I go to a salon in my hometown, which is about an hour drive from where I live. my parents still live there, so i get to see them too. and I spend $80 on a cut and color. sometimes it might be a little more depending on how much hair she cuts. I have been going to the same hairdresser since i was 2 (first haircut, seriously). I have friends who easily spend $250+ on their hair, so i figured $80 was pretty good. I only get my hair cut two or three times per year. to me, its worth it.
p.s. I cut my husband’s hair, so that balances out the cost, right?

Elements Salon for $60(?). I usually get a cut and highlights every 3 months, so I’m not sure what the cut alone would cost. I’m entering this giveaway for my husband though, who spends about $25 w/ tip at Supercuts (we live in an extremely HCOL city).
@Gretchen – $80 for cut AND color is pretty cheap at a salon, so you’re definitely not spending a ton IMO.
