Starbucks just got sexier!

personalized starbucks cardThat's right, you heard it here first. Starbucks is my new best friend. Not that it wasn't top of the list before, but it's now been moved to BFF status. haha....

Why the sudden upgrade? Welllll, from now on you get MAD hook ups as long as you use your registered Starbucks card when ordering! All for being a good little customer.

Check it:
1) Syrup and milk options are now on the house.
2) Brewed coffee refills are F-R-E-E!
3) You get a FREE beverage when you buy whole beans.

SWEETness to the extreme :) now you may be saying to yourself, "Self, but i don't have a starbucks card, so what am i supposed to do?". that's a valid question, so let me propose a solution to that - walk to the nearest starbucks, and pick one up! Or, if you really wanna be creative, create your own online and order it at the same time. The card i have posted at the top is one my sister did for Mrs. Budgetsaresexy. It's fun!!!

if you go on a continual basis, you KNOW you'll be using it, and not only that I bet you'll realize REAL FAST how much you actually spend on coffee when you have to refill your giftcard every other week!

Sooo, by using your new starbucks gift card (which you'll use every visit), you could now:
a) Save up to 80¢ for a fancy pants drink (40¢ for syrup & 40¢ for milk).
b) Save up to $2.50 on a free refill of normal coffee. More if you're a thirsty little badger.
c) Save up to $5.00 on a fancy pants drink if you buy a bag of beans!

Plus, no more searching around your pockets for exact change, or just throwing it on your credit card. The latter adds up fast, and sometimes you don't even realize it! This is a Win-Win situation: Save money AND Budget better!

Now, if you'll excuse me, i'm gonna go put my money where my coffee beans are.

Thanks for the info! I stop at Starbucks at least once a week to get coffee beans for the office. I just reload my card using the company credit card, and head in to get coffee. Yeah, now I can get a drink for me while I'm there! ;) That is SEXY!

If I lived next to a Starbucks I'd go broke, doesn't matter all the free perks they offered. I'd be there morning, noon and night!!

Same thing happened to me this morning. I stopped by to pick up a pound of beans and get a tall drink, didn't pay much attention, but I noticed on the receipt that I was charged for my drink. You can bet I was right on the Starbucks website when I got to work and sent an e-mail wanting to know what the deal was with that! I'll keep you posted as to what I find out.

So now lactose intolerant people don't have to pay 40 cents extra for their unchosen intolerance (soy milk)? About &#*$ing time.

I just found my way over here from Paid Twice and the Starbucks info is great.

I like to get whole (decaf) beans and grind them in the antique coffee grinder I inherited from my grandmother. Now I can get a free fancy coffee too!

Just one thing. Go to a Starbucks inside a Safeway and use the free Safeway wi-fi!

Starbucks FAQ:

Can I get unlimited brewed coffee refills? Can I use any size cup for free brewed refills?

Yes and Yes. You can get unlimited brewed coffee refills with any size cup.

I think I am going to keep the same cup and go back day after day for my "unlimited refills." Can't wait to see how many I can get from the same cup!! Ofcourse I will wash it out daily (and get a new top with each visit) :-)

I'll keep you abreast of my refill count as the weeks roll by. ;-)

I work at StarBucks in the evenings and on the weekends. You have to tell the person that it is a registered card to get the benifit. It sucks but the reality is that most people are not hip to it and so if the person at the register doesn't hit the Card Benifit button it wont work.
Also as of today have a card? now you get two hours of free wifi access.
