O.M.G. I might be buying a new car.
I just came across a killer Cadillac on Craigslist, test drove it, and now i want it! I really shouldn't have gone over to look at it, but I couldn't help myself. The best part, besides the price ($3,400!), is that it's owned by a mechanic! And one who enjoys supping it up a bit too ;)
I'm doing the research on it now, and will give my self a cple days to take it all in, but i'm 75% thinking of getting it. If i can figure out a way to pay it off quickly, that would mean ZERO car payments! Yes, gas would be crazy obnoxious, but at least i wouldn't have that $24k car note, right?

I feel like you need to post a picture of the Caddy and let us help you make the decision! :-)
Do you have a car payment now??? Think about it though if you can afford it $3400 is not bad at all for a car! Plus you know it was taken care of! Keep us posted, I agree with the above comment, a picture would be nice :)

Mare - Yup, i owe $23,533.13 right now on a 2005 Toyota Highlander Limited. I've been going back and forth as to whether or not i should sell it, so this is my big chance if i'm ready for it!
No car payment would be amazing. That in itself is a good reason to buy!
I love not having a car payment (this is my first month without it). Plus, it would be a lot cheaper to insure the Cadillac as well. :)

If so, pop a for-sale sign on the highlander, but keep driving it... at least for now. There is no better advertising for a used car than driving it around!
Also, a tricked out Caddy would be PIMP!
