Wedding Pictures Update: They aren't lost!!! (at least he says)
Man, this thing just keeps on going! If this is your first time reading about it, here's the part when our photographer started dissing us, and then here's the part when he said the pics were "stolen". Now onto part 3...
He responded within 24 hours of his last email! This is great on two accounts: The first being that he now knows just how pissed off we are, and the second being that he's starting to understand how important communication is with us.
I'm not sure if it was my first email to him (the one where i *sorta* threatened further action), or the second one (where i kinda apologized for being harsh, and asked if the pics were okay), but in any case things are looking up!
Here's the last response we got:
And we're not gonna accept any sort of refund at this point. We're just gonna keep pushing until we have the physical pics in our hands, and go from there. Maybe we'll get some courtesy pics or something, but i'm not too worried about. Just gimme those pictures!

*Will update in a week or two once the proofs are supposedly due to come in. (or if anything else f'd up hops on the plate - which would really push me over!)

I just want him to get through whatever's messing up his life so he can get back to taking freakin' awesome pics! That, and so others don't have to put up with this ish...
No worries. You have more than every right to be upset and I'm embarrassed. I went ahead and ordered another set of proofs. Should be about a week. I put a rush on it so you can get your proofs ASAP. All of my original images are backed-up in 3 places. My external hard drive that stays with me, my server farm out in la-la land (edited) and on disc in my storage unit. It's been my backup policy to have everything backed up in triplicate ever since I went digital.
Didn't get all the photos uploaded yesterday because I kept losing my internet connection. Working on that more today.
If you're looking for a refund, and I would understand, let me know and we'll see what can be worked out. Getting a refurbished phone today so I should be able to call you soon.

Okay, J. You realize after all this hype, you're going to have to share at least one photo (if you get them!)
so frustrating. hope you get them.
I can't believe the un-professionalism of that guy!! No matter if the pics turn up eventually, I hope you don't refer him to any of your friends or family!
I'm sorry this is happening to you. He is very unprofessional and definitely not communicating well. I hope you get your pics soon! Good luck.

Unfortunate indeed :( At least my patience is growing! haha...although i'm not sure how much longer it'll last for now. We're still waiting for them to be posted online.

And heelllll no Canadian Saver - not gonna refer him out to anyone. I'm just waiting to post some honest reviews once everything settles.
