Confess your financial sins and get slapped! Or hugged.

That's right kiddies, there's a new site in town just begging for your attention! I picked it up from Almost Frugal on a tweet this morning (see, twitter is awesome!), and i've already spent 20+ mins of my employer's time on it ;) It's called financialconfessions.net and it's freakin' awesome. People anonymously leave confessions and then you let them know how you feel about it by either slappin' them or huggin' them! haha...you gotta love them internets.

Thank you very much for the link to Financial Confessions! And we completely agree, budgets are extremely sexy :)

A question for the readers - what are your opinions on... censorship? Should we be censoring at all, and at what point? When do things like this become not-safe-for-work?

Any opinions appreciated :)

I'm glad i could be of service! It sure helps me to pass the day, although i need MORE people to be confessing there so we have someone to slap 24/7 :)

My dearest Holly & Frugal, today's post - JUST FOR YOU!!! (and good timing too i might add)

@James - I hope others comment back to ya! Here are my opinions: I don't think any of it should be censored because it a) takes away the "fun", and b) it's all words and not pictures or anything. you could always state somewhere that you have the right to pull down anything that is clearly not kosher or is just spam-like and all.

Just my 2 cents - i don't consider anything "nsfw" unless pictures are involved ;) could just be me though.

I found it fun for the first few pages, but the cute/not-cute kittie face-off had more staying power for me. I wish there were more grey-area or outrageous but believable confessions to consider. "I blew $5000 on hookers this weekend and it was worth it" doesn't make me sit and think.

Awesome, thanks for the opinion J... that was what I was thinking. Thankfully there are no sweary-words thus far.

@bigasssuperstar - you are absolutely right... that confession didn't exactly make me think either :)

Thanks again all :D

Thank you so much for this post.

Over the years I've taken a lot of teasing from my oldest daughter about giving my step-daughter (4th grader at the time) Walmart shoes and putting them in a Nike box, she thought her shoes were real Nike's and told everyone she had Nike and I let her do it. I've always felt bad about this.... NOT! LMAO!!!

Now that I've confessed, I feel much better. :-D
