I think it's def. a balance :) If you can rock it and forget about the job once you leave, more power to you. If you find you're taking it with you and constantly stressed/worried, might be worth a change. I can tell you that this same exact company I work at when I wrote this has completely changed and I am hating it... every single one of these benefits are gone, and the entire morale has been shot. So now I am truly only there for the money! And a good 25% less too w/ all the cuts - ouch. I'll probably be moving on soon. But yeah - always gotta take a step back and re-evaluate where you're at. I'm from the Philippines & luckily I've never been out out job for 3 straight years although I've switched companies before. I'm planning to resign next year because of the politics in the company but now I'm having second thoughts because I do love my job & the pay. I may need to re-think my decision of quitting next year but if it becomes worse I can always get the same job in another company so thank you.
