Hello hello my beautiful friends! Are you ready to help change someone’s life today? I hope so because a good friend and I are on a mission to drop some love on a family who could really really use it. And we’ll need all the help we can get :)
Budgets Are Sexy has teamed up with Nate from ItStartsWith.Us (the social movement “changing the world in 15 minutes a week”) and we’re on a warpath to do all we can to GIVE BACK. But not to just anyone, or any organization, but to someone close to us. Someone who we know is going through a tough time financially, and simply needs another life raft to hold onto.
Nate has done an excellent job of bringing people together to donate their time, but every now and then an extra dollar or two can make all the difference in the world. And that is what Love Drop is about – gathering those who would like to participate in something bigger than themselves by contributing $1 or $5 a month to our special “pot.” The pot that goes out to someone we care for each and every month :)
And this month’s Love Drop mission is on behalf of Angie – a good friend of Nate’s, whose family needs all the support they can get.
Just two weeks ago they woke up to one of the scariest sounds you can imagine in the middle of the night – their fire alarm. Only what usually turns out to be a dying battery or two, became a full-blown fire throughout their entire house :( Every family member made it out okay (Thank God!), but they lost all their belongings in the process, and will be living out of a hotel for the next five months.
So if you’d like to join us today and help drop this love bomb on them, click that big orange “CHIP IN” button above and become a part of the movement! $1 multiplied by a few hundred can make amazing things happen, baby :)
PS: If you know of someone yourself who can use our help, please let us know! It’s all about giving back to our community.

|Digit (FREE) -- A super easy (and automated) way to save. Every day Digit analyzes your income and expenses and will push money aside for you any time it sees extra sitting there. I've saved over $4,000 myself using them so far! // Full review|
