Need a Project Done That Helps Someone? Tell Us!

by J. Money on Thursday, September 2, 2010

My boy Nate and the ItStartsWith.Us team is at it again. Using the forces of good to help give back even more!  If there’s something you’ve always wanted to do to help someone, or a group of someones, let us know :)  Your idea just might be picked to help launch our newest venture! (and I say “our” because I’m a proud member myself – W00T!). To submit a project idea, email here: nate @

PS: Some of my favorite tools:
personal capital Personal Capital (FREE) -- If you’re looking for a robust financial tracker, Personal Capital is the way to go! They’re like Mint, but on steroids and have much better tools for investment and net worth tracking. // Full review Digit (FREE) -- A super easy (and automated) way to save. Every day Digit analyzes your income and expenses and will push money aside for you any time it sees extra sitting there. I've saved over $4,000 myself using them so far! // Full review
acorns Acorns -- Having trouble finding money to invest? Check out Acorns – they round up all your transactions to the nearest $1.00 and drops the difference into an investment portfolio for you. Easy way to start investing! // Full review

This is such a great thing that you are doing! I don’t really have an idea for fund raising or anything like that but one cause that could always use help is mental health associations. As fall slowly creeps in donations for clothes, blankets and nonperishable food are always in demand.

Oh yeah, for sure :( What’s going to be fun/rewarding with this new project of ours is the fact that it’ll get 100% completed by people donating their time and special skills! A group pulling together to make something good for someone, we’re pretty excited :) And who knows, if this first one goes really well we’ll keep on doing them and create a whole empire of love! haha…
