Just want to say I found your blog while reading a poker blog. You do an awesome job. I was one of the families profiled in the Money Magazine Super Savers. We weren’t always doing so well. I remember about 10 years back when I was making $1400/month and dipping into our savings. Have to think long term. So interesting all the negative comments a lot of people posted on the Money Magazine website.
Dude yeah, I read that piece! I live in DC area too which is why I remembered it :) Well, that and your interest in poker (one of my dream jobs one day once I save enough).
Read through some of those jokers’ comments – people are so quick to judge and hate on others. Much easier to try and bring you down than to raise up their own game and rock it like y’all are doing.
Keep those goals going and live your dreams! You’re certainly an inspiration, and id share a beer with you any day :)
