Whew – made it through the week! Gonna be a short roundup today as we’re going on night #5 of 3 hours sleepness and had no fun blog reading time… but on the other hand, Love Drop is about to drop like woah! Nate and I are workin’ our asses off to make this thing just kill in Jan… And from the responses back so far it doesn’t look like we’re gonna have a problem with corporate sponsors ;) More to come later… On to a few posts I enjoyed this week:
UPDATE: Our good friend Jenny Blake is now an AUTHOR!!! Check out her blog update on her new book coming out! Because of her, Love Drop was able to come alive and she’s one of the most beautiful-hearted person I know! Congrats Jenny!!! It’s so exciting watching your dream come true :)
- Who Wants a Kardashian Credit Card? @ The Frisky - This is just crazy talk… although I must admit I do get entertained by Kim and her brood! It’s kinda hard not to enjoy some of their drama/gossip they’re always in the middle of… not sure how well this card will work but it sure makes life interesting :) Good find 5 Dollar Prep. Tell Joel McHale I say what up.
- You Can Get Paid to Save For Retirement? I Love You 401(k)s! @ Currency by American Express – This week’s post I did for them… although they didn’t like my title & changed it ;) Haven’t blogged about my love for 401(k)s lately so this was a refreshing walk down memory lane… Back when I HAD a 401k!!! Arghhh…
- Best advice from our favorite personal finance bloggers @ Credit Karma - Great group of us bloggers there dropping the best of the best advice we have! I’m pretty sure there are a few there that would be new to you.
- Why my college degree was worth the price @ Clever Dude — Can you guess why I like this?? I JUST blogged about the same thing! haha… maybe he stole the idea from me? ;)
The Carnivals I participated in this week:
- Festival of Frugality #254: “It’s hard to be frugal during the holidays” @ GenXFinance.com
- Carnival of Personal Finance #282: Seinfeld edition @ PT Money

Just wanted to pop in and let you know I was thinking about Love Drop during class today! I take a graduate class on Nonprofit Management, and someone did a presentation on giving circles, which let people get together, pool their time and money, and work for a cause they believe in. I was wondering particularly how this model will change with the Internet, since giving circles aren’t just limited to someone’s living room, and Love Drop came up as the best example I could think of!
Keep up the good work!
Oh my goodness – you are so sweet. This completely made my day and then some!!! Love you to pieces J$!!! So lucky to know you :) Have an amazing weekend!
I went to that website there are so many fees, I think someone would have to be a fool to get a kardashian card. I don’t think it makes sense.
