Captain Random Pants

Found quite a few gems on the interwebs lately, and couldn’t wait ’til Friday’s roundup to share ’em… This is exactly what my brain looks like internally in case you ever wondered ;)

Target Goggles!

Sick of going to Target and buying stuff you don’t need? Then try out Target Goggles! Haha… I could use these more so at TJ Maxx than anywhere. Maybe they’ll come up with other models? ;)

A $91,500 shirt??

How many do you want? :) Here’s a snippet of the article from Shine (good lookin’ out, Brian):

“The most expensive T-shirt in New York City—and possibly (hopefully?) the world—is apparently the one selling for $91,500 at Hermés… The black crew-neck men’s T-shirt, made of crocodile skin, was sniffed out on the racks by a blogger at the Awl Monday, who wrote, “Yes. It finally happened. Congratulations to us, and to the Hermès men’s store on Madison Avenue for just hanging it quietly on a shelf with some rather more normal clothes. (I mean, expensive clothes! But everything looks cheap next to this price tag.)”

A Range Rover covered entirely in COINS!

This awesomeness comes from Car Buzz and it’s pretty ridiculous… In a good way, haha… Here’s the video on it below, as well as more info in case you want to do it yourself one day ;)

“Rolling in a Range Rover, you look like money. Plain and simple. But these guys (in Dubai, of course) have taken things a step further. After having applied a similar treatment to a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, the crew over at Coins Car have glued a bunch of metal currency to the latest Range Rover. The process used no less than 57,412 coins to give it the most blinged-out treatment we’ve seen applied to a car yet.”

A credit union that’s all in the family:

Check out this post to read about it, or watch the video below – so cool!!! This family’s lent out over $5 million dollars to direct descendants of the two family members that started it up years ago!

An awesome (and true) quote my friend Melanie emailed her list:

“To be successful, you have to have your heart in your business, and your business in your heart.” – Thomas Watson, Sr.

Hope this feeds your A.D.D. this beautiful Spring morning! If you’ve come across any other awesomeness you think we’d enjoy, do let us know… Nothing like putting off more work today ;)

Target Goggles is even better than Google Glass! LOL! I hope Target Goggles v2 should include a sound alarm for every deviation alert.

That credit union makes me smile. Wealth building for generations, how awesome.

On the other hand, the shirt and Range Rover make me want to shake babies…

I recently learned that shaking babies are apparently bad. Good thing my wife told me now, 9 MONTHS AFTER OURS WAS BORN! Haha…

I think I am going to cover my project jeep in coins to make it stand out. What better way to use pennies?

Heh heh, I like the Target goggle. They should make one that block out online ads.

I wonder what the pay is to glue coins to a car. Possible side hustle?!

I’m not sure if I should cry because the credit union is so sweet, or laugh at how awesome the name of this post is. Or cry because of how awful the coin car is, but really, is it any more awful than me wanting to do a penny floor?

Man, you’ve got me all over the place today.

That credit union video is kind of funny.

$91,500 t-shirt. Only in America folks. The gap between the Have and Have-Not is incredibly large in the good old U.S. of A.

I didn’t mean it funny, funny. What I meant by it that it made me smile. Wealth building for all generations is awesome.

Hi J.Money, I’ve been following your blog daily for about a year now. After going through some self-induced hard times several years ago, I’ve been totally focused on my finances, and your blog has gotten me through some times of serious self doubt and what I sometimes refer to as “personal finance loneliness.” Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks, and tell you that as of 10:24pm this evening, I have officially saved my first $100,000. I needed to celebrate with someone, lol, and thought this fit in pretty well with the whole “random” theme you have going on today. Thanks again for the inspiration, take care!
