Return of The Googleizer!

Has it really been a YEAR since we last did this? That’s incredible…Back then I was baby-less and full of sleep! ;) So even better that we do another one of these today for all you newbies to the site to enjoy, and also so you can see how us bloggers have fun in our spare time, haha… Reminds me of when I used to work in customer service and we’d save the most ridiculous voicemails and emails to give us a good laugh when we needed it ;) You gotta do what you gotta do!

And as always a lot of people are looking *to do*. I had to scroll like past the first 100 phrases just to weed out all the searches relating to sex or sexy or being a phone sex operator – not surprisingly one of the most popular posts on this site :) And not even written by me, haha.. figures.

Anywho, here’s a bunch of things people are searching for to get to my site here, along with my thoughts and answers on them… If you happened to submit any of these you win today’s prize!

“What do they call those ladies that demo out food in grocery stores?”
A “Product Demonstrator.” Or, to the layman, ‘Sample Passer-Outer!

Does showering together save water?
Kim Kardashian thinks so, and thanks to her it made for one of my earlier posts on this site :) I’ll agree too, as long as you love birds don’t end up staying in there longer ‘cuz you decided to do something else instead of cleaning your bodies, you dirty dogs…

“New kids on the block trading cards value?”
Haha… I had to re-Google to find the answer to this one (and honestly don’t even know how this GOT to my site as I couldn’t even find it in the results?), and the results aren’t good. I found an entire box full for sale on Amazon for only $15.88 – which is a steal compared to a single card pack at $4.95 there as an add-on! – and then I checked completed sets just to be sure there were no hidden gems, and those were only going for $1.99 up to $19.99 on eBay. All randomly coming from counties OUTSIDE of the US! Haha… maybe they’re like David Hasselhoff there? ;)

“Buy a coin sorter or go to coin star?”
Take ’em to your bank or local credit unions first as many times they have coin machines there for you FOR FREE! Especially if you’re a member (and if not, try another one or see what the difference in % is – I bet it would still be much lower than Coinstar)

“How many underwater welders die each year?
Yikes – morbid! I’m not sure how reliable this source is, but Wiki Answers.com says roughly 10 die per year by accident (as apposed to??)… And they can make anywhere from $90,000 to $200,000! Nice! Here’s an interesting list of the top 10 most fatal jobs out there too if that floats your fancy…

“Uncle Scrooge McDuck rolling in money”
No doubt one of the best cartoons ever. I used to love that Uncle Scrooge!

“If im a packer shareholder do i get bumped up on the season ticket waiting list?”
Nope! Making it one of the worst stock investments you can have as it’s purely for bragging rights, haha… to other Packers fans! (Which is why we bought one for my boy Nate last Christmas – he loves it. And honestly I’d love to say I owned a part of a football team! How cool would that be?)

“What is seth green’s net worth?”
According to CelebrityNetWorth.com, $35 Million. Remember when they had that 1 hour special show, “Un-Broke” where he did a funny “Cribs” parody? That was awesome.

Does pizza hut take 50 dollar bills?
Haha…. why not? Money is money?

“Why do i have to contact my husband first?
Umm….

“Can you have an antique shop inside your home?”
I don’t know but that sounds like heaven!

Piggy bank that you have to break
I love those!! Especially this grenade one… but since it costs so much you’d never want to break it :(

And lastly, “working at yatbucks as a birista”
Haha… I don’t know why but that totally cracks me up :) Here’s a post on what it’s like to be a yatbucks birista, which also happens to hold the #1 spot on my jobs to try one day too.

Y’all have a good weekend!
If any other bloggers want to share their funny search words, feel free to drop them below… Always enjoy seeing what others are getting :)

I have seen some interesting ones but remember none off the top of my head. It always makes me sad when I see people searching how to pay off crazy amounts of debt though :(

I found myself genuniely surprised that NKOTB had trading cards, let alone them having a trading value.

Indeed, being of the age that I could remember them being in the charts, I cannot name a single track of theirs :-/

Haha I’ve gotten some funny ones this week too. Someone searched if they “would get in trouble if they broke into a house but didn’t steal anything”

“Working at yatbucks as a birista” cracked me up! Maybe it’s a black market version of Starbucks? “Want holiday flavors in June? You know where to go…….”

Hey I have a video on my blog today that reminds me of you, maybe because they are swinging fake dollar bills around HA!

Some of the stuff people search for I would have to sensor too much to post here lol. Maybe I will create a post just for that stuff for next Friday ;)

I purchased an entire box of NKOTB trading cards at a dollar store in the early 90s, exactly like that box for $16 on Amazon. Though some of the packs have gone missing over the years, I still have a bit more than half the box and the individual packs are all still wrapped. Kudos to mom and dad on telling me not to unwrap those things! They’re not exactly the high-demand collectors items they dreamed of, but it’s something.

I like taking my coins to the Coinstar at Albertson’s grocery stores. You exchange the coins for an Albertson’s gift card (for no fee) and then you can use that gift card to buy gift cards for other places (iTunes, Best Buy, McDonalds, etc.).

@Lance @ Money Life and More – I know :( And there’s a LOT of those kinds of searches too… But at least they’re looking for help! And coming across sites like ours to motivate them :)
    @Verne Halom – Haha… don’t worry, you’re not missing out ;)
@Michelle – HAH! Yes, they would. It’s called breaking and entering!
@SavvyFinancialLatina – OMG that’s funny… have you ever blogged about that?
@Brittany – I know right? It sounds like a more religous place to me too :)
@Financial Black Sheep – Yes! Do it! It’s fun.
@Jarrod – Oh well that’s a nice idea! If you shop there anyways then yeah, totally worth it :)

Haha, I especially like the NKOTB Google hits… I had tons of those trading cards when I was a tween. I wonder if my mom still has them? I could sell them to Germans, it appears!

As a HUGE NKOTB fan, I am cracking up that you included them here.

I was too old for trading cards, never owned them back in the day. And now? Well they reunited in 2008 so there may be a “slight” value on eBay for the original ones but doubt there’s much. They seem to pop up everywhere.

That pic brings back fond memories!
