I just put this new site together because I couldn’t get it off my mind: RockstarFinance.com
And, also, because I just want to promote the crap out of every GREAT FINANCE ARTICLE out there! Similar to our weekly roundups we do here, only in a much more fun and prettier set up :) (We’ll still be doing the roundups here too). The goal of the whole thing is simple:
If it’s awesome, it goes on the site.
That’s it. A collection of my favorite clips/vids/quotes about money, all set up visually like nifty little bookmarks to tickle your membrane ;) I’ll be sticking to the best, and filtering the rest! (That last line just took me 15 mins to come up with btw. And now after re-reading it again it looks lame! Haha…)
So. Now that I’ve gotten that excitement off my chest, NOW IT’S ONTO WHY YOU SHOULD CARE. And I’ll give you three reasons for that:
- Because it’s all about AWESOME money stuff!
- Because you want to meet and learn from other great finance bloggers/writers out there – not just from me. Even though we all know my opinions are gold ;)
- Because one of you lucky bastards will win a kick-ass pair of shades for following it!

I am just curious about how this is different from a Pinterest board
@Jan, the most obvious. way it is different is that readers aren’t forced to subscribe or join, they can read as a guest.
You can do that on Pinterest too. You are not forced to subscribe or join to view. The reason I asked was because the layout of the new website is similar to a Pinterest board too.
It is indeed similar to Pinterest, on purpose :) Only I own and control it and would like to think it’s a much more fun and juicy site than pinterest, haha… But they are rock stars over there too, no doubt about it. Wherever people wanna go to have fun w/ money is a-okay with me – as long as they’re learning!

Great! I was surprised that there weren’t many others out there yet to be honest with you, but probably because it takes a lot more time to do than you’d think. I’m learning that a lot right now, haha… But on the other hand, my hope is that that’s what’ll separate this site from the pack too. I’m not adding up every other post on the internet up there – only the ones that strike as the best :) And of course I want it to be fun for people so I’ll be doing some cool stuff myself on it w/ original content. I found them in a clearance bin for a lot less than you can probably guess :) But I can’t put the price here or else people will think they’re crap! Haha… And they’re indeed AWESOME!
