This is awesome. I read Freakonomics years ago and recently watched the film. I would love to see what’s the latest in fringe economics. Perhaps an early Christmas gift to myself.

Freakonomics is an awesome book, and they say the book is always better than the movie so an illustrated edition would be even better!

I’ve heard about Freakonomics but never took the time out to read it. No better time than the present (especially if it IS a present!)

I want it because I read Freakonomics (gift from my wife), then picked up Superfreakonomics in hardcopy because I enjoyed Freakonomics. Then I didn’t read it for the longest time, so I got it on my Kindle so I’d be more tempted to read it. But I still haven’t, so I might as well have another edition that would be even more tempting to read because it has tonnes of awesome pictures and stuff.

Because the prospect of enjoying an illustrated, and free, version of Super Freakonomics is so inspirational that it brought me out of the woodworks to make my first comment.

I want this so I can give it to my bf for Christmas! LOL. He says he wants it because he’s “read the two books and he is interested to see what they can add with some graphics”. (Boring reason, I know.)

It’s my girlfriend’s favorite book, and I’ve never read it. I’d read her copy, but she left it in Zambia.

This would be an awesome Christmas present for me to give to her, and then I’d read it as well and everyone would benefit!!

Freakonomics made me rethink traditional thinking – which is healthy to do in all aspects of life, from religion, to financial planning, to our families, to our jobs. Fresh perspective is a gift in and of itself. When it comes in a book, well then, that’s all the more better.

I really find business and economic sexy! And big pictures and graphs would be really nice to look at, especially after staring at a computer screen for 12 -14 hrs during the work day. I have been able to steal a copy of the old book during lunch time from coworkers, but I would love a copy of my own. :)
