Seriously, if that damn lettuce one didn’t cost $100 I’d pick one up right now! :) I may have to search around and see if I can’t find it somewhere cheaper…that dirty underwear one is just crazy too! haha…I wonder how many of those sell?

All I can say is just….WOW! I would, personally, pick either the wall outlet, clock, or closet light because you could have so many of these in your house that even if a theif knew of these types of safes, it would take forever for him/her to check each one of these. Time is of the essence with burgulars, they have to get in and get out. They wouldn’t have time to check every electrical socket or clock or closet light.

I like the lettuce too. Who would’ve have thought of a lettuce head that wouldn’t go bad easily and you could keep money and jewelries in it.

These are really cool safes. I would not have thought of the head of lettuce or the surge protector. Hopefully, thieves won’t think of them either!

I think the surge protector may be my all-time fave here. Only thing is I’d forget my valuables were in it too! haha…that, and I’d get mad when it doesn’t work all the time ;)

My brother has the candle one – and it even comes with extra bottom stickers in case you wear it out taking your stuff out too often.

He also has one that’s a real book with the pages glued together and cut-out.

I love these – especially the lettuce one!

Don’t forget to store them inside a fireproof safe in case the house burns down. A lettuce head in there would be pretty inconspicuous. Sure I keep lettuce in my gun safe. Don’t you?

The last time my apartment was robbed the thief left the computers, etc. and stole a large cheese, pink bedspread and three cheap plastic clocks. So I can see a thief walking off with a loaf of bread, head of lettice and candles….

Haha that’s funny I was thinking the same thing now that it’s on the internet crooks are going to know. I’m sure they keep up with secret safes if not they need different job. You need something that’s not advertised on the internet something unique something you made up

Hah! A lot of crooks do actually….and then get caught ;) So in that case the lettuce safe would not be such a good idea!

@ Peter – if this “someone” is you I want the VIP preview, baby!!! actually that reminds me – one of my dreams is to convert an old-school bank into a house :) now THAT would be a bad a$$ safe.

When my family moved in 1983, when I was 9, there was an outlet wall safe in my new room. It was empty, but it was a cool thing for a kid and I hid things in there regularly. I pulled it out of the wall entirely a few years later and inside the wall behind it I found a bunch of late ’70s Playboy centerfolds the room’s previous owner had hidden there.

My parents sold that house in 1998 and I always meant to go back and put something awesome back in there for the next kid to find, but I never got the chance.

The wal outlet one is awesome. A friend of mine had installed it… a few weeks later his house got roobed but they never noticed the outlet. I’d think there’s a chance they’d notice the candle one or the clock one ….they made a real mess of his place and knocked everything over. They’d hear his valuables clanging around in there.
