LOL. I already get your feed in the e-mail, but didn’t want to potentially miss anything, so I signed up as a VIP. I guess if I start getting two of the same thing I can cancel one. Anyway, thanks for the certificate ;)

Hi! I found your site from a July 2010 Family Circle. It talked about “Track your spending for three months.”. Do you still have that option? I am using a blackberry for internet and am having trouble finding this link. Thanks!!

Hey! Very cool – totally forgot about that magazine article, nice to meet you :) Not sure what link you’re talking about, but I do all my tracking with the top spreadsheet here:

    https://budgetsaresexy.com/free-budget-templates-sites/

You’ll find others that may work better for you, but really it was just about sitting down a few times a month and keeping track for 3 months straight. I learned sooooooo much about my spending, it was awesome! Well, not the spending part (I was leaking more than I was bringing in!) but the “knowing” what was going on part ;) If you haven’t ever tried it before, I highly suggest it. And once you get on top of it, you don’t have to manage it all too hardcore after that, it’s really just a great stepping stone.

    Hope that helps!

Oh My Gosh! I can’t believe I didn’t know about your site before. Signed up and also for the email one.

What can you tell me about American Express Gift Cards?? I have one but am unable to use it for paying on a loan. I called the number on the back of the card and basely it’s just for shopping. Can you believe that?? It won’t let you withdraw cash from it either.(For paying down debt_

Welcome to the site! Glad you found it :) That’s def. interesting about the Amex gift card – I actually have one of those in my pockets too. Didn’t know that you couldn’t use to pay down a loan, but what about using your regular credit card and then using the Amex to pay for groceries or whatever else in the same amount of $? So you’re basically just switching cards to get the same thing done?

nooooo idea… too many variables for anyone to know that except the insurance companies when you call them :) Your age is just one factor of the others like driving record, the car you have, the deductibles you want and on and on… I’d do some Google searching online to see if you can get some good comparisons, and then pick the top 3 and call them to see which one is best for you :)
