Been cleaning out my “blogging” shelf and found a few more goodies for y’all :)
If you’re interested in anything here, just tell me which one – and why – and you’ll be entered to win it!
Threw in a fun one there in the end for anyone needing a little one-on-one help…
#1. “The Money Tree” Book
Chris Guillebeau’s new book he recently came out with. Gave out a few copies the other week, however this one’s my personal copy and seeing how I’m currently on a “money book” reading hiatus (gotta expand my interests! Lol…), thought it would be better on your shelves than mine :)
Here’s more on it from his website:
The Money Tree uses a compelling story with captivating characters to share its core insight: if you’re struggling with debt, there’s a way out—without giving up your lattes…
Jake Aarons is in trouble. He’s being evicted from his apartment in less than 30 days, the bill for his $50,000 in overdue student loans is almost due, and the digital marketing agency he works at just implemented a new military-style grading system that might cost him his job. To top it off, Jake’s new relationship with Maya was going so well… but with everything else falling down around him, he might lose her, too.
In search of answers, Jake reluctantly attends a weekly group meeting at the invitation of a coworker. Everyone in the group is trying to create a lucrative side hustle with one key requirement: they can only spend up to $500 before earning a profit. Over the course of several weeks, Jake undertakes a series of challenges, first learning how to make $1,000 in a single weekend, and ultimately how to discover the untapped skills he needs to take control of his finances–and his life.
#2. Ekster® Senate Cardholder w/ Solar Powered Tracker Card
This one was shipped to me for a possible review, but turns out it’s not really my thing so passing it on out there in case it’s yours :)
The *interesting* part of this though is the SOLAR POWERED TRACKER CARD where you can track where your wallet is at all times in case it ever gets lost/stolen! And could even be repurposed for other items around your house if you don’t use this type of wallet either ;)
More on the wallet, and tracker, from Ekster below: (and btw, not a knock at all on them for this not being my thing. I just happen to like using my boring ol’ normal money clip, and this was an attempt on my behalf of trying to spice it up a bit!)
The Senate is a slim leather cardholder with quick card access and a removable cash strap. The built-in aluminum cardholder fans out your cards at the click of a button and protects them against skimming. Add a tracker to make it unlosable.
- Quick card access mechanism
- RFID blocking technology
- Premium leather
Solar Powered Tracker Card:
Can’t find your wallet? Not sure where you left that bag? Our credit card-sized tracker card is the difference between stress and streamlining your essentials. Just use your phone to ring your stuff, or see where you last had it on a map.
- Wallet & phone ringing feature
- Worldwide Lost & Found Network
- 3 hours of solar charge lasts 2 full months
- Voice-activated using Siri, Alexa or Google

#4. Batch of Coin Magazines and Viewer!
Here’s a bunch of great coin collecting magazines I’ve finished reading in case anyone’s interested in pursuing the hobby themselves :)
PLUS: a cool coin viewer machine from the 50s (?) to help you sort through rolls of coins faster! Perfect for trying to fill out Whitman blue folders… (or if you just like vintage stuff, haha…)
Thanks to reader Peter for donating it and letting me play around with it first!
